Covid Information

Admittedly, it feels more than crazy for us to start a new festival in times of a global pandemic and constantly changing regulations. At the same time, we are convinced that it is especially important now to create new and conscious spaces and gatherings in order to be able to get in closer contact with ourselves, others and the world. Spaces in which we can reflect what has happened and where we come to new strength. Spaces in which we can celebrate pure life energy and where we can work with great confidence on creative solutions for the challenges that lie ahead of us.

That is why we would like to try to hold the festival under the following conditions:

As the festival organiser, we undertake to implement all the legally prescribed hygiene protection measures for open air events at the time of the festival with the utmost care in order to reduce the risk of infections as much as possible.

These hygiene protection measures can include distance rules, wearing mouth and nose protection, especially if the minimum distance cannot be maintained, careful hand washing and disinfection, as well as a corona tests or temperature measurement before admission to the festival site.

We will adapt the measures to the current situation in close cooperation with the authorities.

In this context we would also like to appeal to your own responsibility. Please support us in implementing the applicable hygiene protection measures on site. If you have any symptoms of illness such as fever, cough, headache, body aches or other symptoms before the festival, please do not travel there. Protect yourself and others through cautious and honest behaviour.

If, after the festival, it turns out that a Covid-19 infected person was on the premises, we will of course inform all participants immediately and coordinate the next steps with the local authorities.

We also recommend using the Corona Warn app.

If the festival cannot be carried out as planned due to legal restrictions, we will try to offer an alternative date at a later date in 2021, or postpone the festival to summer 2022.

In the event of a postponement, ticket holders will have the choice of whether they want to keep the ticket for the replacement date or whether they want to have the ticket price reimbursed minus a 20% risk contribution. The risk contribution of 20% is extremely important for the survival of our initiative, as many costs will be incurred before implementation and as a young collective we currently have no alternative means of bearing these costs. If you would like to support us in a special way, then you can donate your ticket for the purpose of maintaining the Pura Vida Festival.
