With “Wir bauen Zukunft” (WBZ) we have a visionary partner project by our side and a vibrant home for our festival retreat!
Our friends from WBZ truly founded a courageous space for social change ten years ago. It is placed on the large area of a former adventure park in the countryside. A vibrant and enchanted regenerative ecosystem for innovation, education and creative business, right in the middle of nature. With co-working spaces, workshops, seminar and event facilities, a forest garden and a tiny house research settlement, it is a great hub for sustainable development in the region.
Expect lush idyllic nature with wide open green fields, majestic trees, lots of magical hidden spots and an enchanted forest to be explored! Far away from the main roads, underneath the sparkling starry skies, dancing with the fireflies, we can experience ourselves as beings that belong on this planet. And if you listen closely, you might hear the more beautiful world that our hearts know is possible breathing through the rustling leaves…
How to get there
To minimize our collective ecological footprint, we would love you to arrive by train. The nearest train station is Schwanheide. Normally, it takes less than two hours by EC/ICE from Berlin (prices from 30 euros), and from Hamburg it takes just 40 sweet minutes (prices from 17 euros or free with a Deutschlandticket). From Schwanheide, you can either use the shuttle service for a small coin fee (all guests will receive information about this by email before the festival) or take a sustainable and sporty bike ride (see Elbe cycle path: www.elberadweg.com/reiseideen/hamburg-berlin).
We all know it: Sharing is caring. If you want to come by car, we are happy if you take other festival visitors with you!! (Rumor has it that one or the other has already found love on the way to Pura Vida...) If you are looking for a ride or have a ride to offer, you can use our Carpooling chat in our Telegram group. If you want to arrive yourself by car or camper, please remember to buy the appropriate ticket.
Camping
The easiest way to stay overnight on the premises is if you bring your own tent.
If you prefer a little more comfort, then our glamping tents are the perfect blend of luxury and nature. Our glamping tents offer a cozy retreat where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of nature without sacrificing modern comforts. We'll set up your accommodation so that it's ready for you when you arrive - you don't have to worry about a thing and can get straight into your festival weekend.
Caring for the lands
WBZ is a fragile Protected Ecosystem that we wish to treat with respect and love!
Please bring and use organic toiletries only.
These lands are also home to a lot of rare species. You can dance with the fireflies - but please do not disturb them with bright artificial light at night. The same applies to the forest and the beings living there.
Please separate waste, use the ashtrays or your own pocket ashtray. If you wish to swim, please always shower before! Please be aware that we might need to close the pool in case of harmful or overly use.
