This morning gathering is an invitation to consciously wake up and to express the vital language of our being. Rooted in classical Hatha Yoga and enriched with elements of fluid and embodied movement, this practice is both grounding and activating. We will explore how remembrance lives within the body – as intuition, breath and the quiet knowing that moves us from within. Carried by an explorative soundscape and our own voices, we will drop into deep listening – beyond the thinking mind – to allow our body to move from a place of softness, intuition and truth. Moments of stillness will alternate with vital sequences in a constant rhythm of our breath, creating space for connection, subtle energy to awaken and its integration. Join this opportunity to open the body, calm the mind and nourish the soul, setting the tone for a day of meaningful connection and exploration – by ourselves and together. Nina is a Hatha Yoga Teacher, Co-Founder of SPACE Yoga Studio in Las Palmas and passionate facilitator of Women Circles and Cacao Ceremonies – walking the path of remembrance together.

Transitions hold quiet magic. Before stepping into the heart of the festival, let’s slow down together and honor this gentle threshold. Expect simplicity, playful curiosity, and moments of genuine connection - with yourself and with those around you. We meet softly in the space between arrival and beginning. This gathering is an invitation: breathe deeper, move gently, perhaps share a smile, a playful glance, or even a hug if that feels right. Together, we'll savor the ease and warmth of truly landing, preparing to enter Pura Vida with presence, openness, and a quiet sense of wonder. Vishal is a facilitator, storyteller, and community builder dedicated to creating gentle, playful spaces for authentic human connection.

Desire is the quiet voice within us that whispers, “This is what I want.” It’s the spark that makes us feel alive, the pull toward something meaningful, and the energy that moves us forward. Yet, in the rush of daily life, it’s easy to ignore our longings and lose touch with what truly matters. This workshop invites participants to slow down, reconnect with their desires and explore them as a guiding creative force in life. Through guided reflection, visualization, and actionable steps, they will uncover what lights you up, gain clarity on what they truly want, and visualize the impact of honoring those desires. By the end of the session, participants will identify meaningful actions to bring their desires closer to reality and take the first steps toward creating a life that feels aligned and fulfilling. Also, they will step out with some inspiration on how their time at Pura Vida can serve them best. Anja is a pleasure activist, researcher and storyteller for communities building and experimenting with and for the future. She invites you to listen, trust, and let desires lead you somewhere beautiful.

We want to strip away old conditioning that hinders us to come together as men who support each other and share with an open heart. How do psychedelics alter perception and could they really deepen our connection to the natural world? Recent research suggests that these substances can reduce cognitive and emotional rigidity and expand our awareness of ecological interdependence. However, the context and intention of psychedelic experiences play a crucial role in shaping their impact. Henrik is the Director of the research and education organization MIND Foundation, trained in Medical Psychology and Public Health, dedicated to bring psychedelic therapy into public healthcare. In this talk, we explore the science of nature awareness through the lens of psychedelic research, uncovering how altered states of consciousness can reignite our innate ecological sensitivity. Drawing from psychology, neuroscience, and environmental studies, we will discuss key findings on how psychedelics influence perception, emotion, and behavior toward nature. For this, we also need to de-bullshit psychedelics and liberate them from some historical naivité.

We are opening the space for a living kaleidoscopes of conversations, which allow people to experience interdependency and generate understandings of systemic patterns and complexity. By shifting perspectives through a transcontextual conversational structure, the Warm Data Lab process increases our abilities to generate conceptual movement and respond to difficult issues in a new way. By design, a Warm Data Lab doesn't have to reach a specific goal or outcome but is meant to open room for complexity and depth to unfold and in that way, allows for the emergence of new insights. Warm Data Labs have been developed by Nora Bateson and build on the theories of her father, the systems thinker and anthropologist Gregory Bateson.

One of this year’s Festival Retreat highlights! Zen teacher Paul Kothes with more than 30 years of practice experience offers us a journey - to the place where everything begins. What if the most important path we can walk is the one that leads inward? Paul reminds us that meditation is not a technique, but a way of meeting life – an invitation to face reality just as it is. His combination of mindfulness and entrepreneurship is unique: In addition to founding the successful communications agency KohtesKlewes (now Ketchum), Paul also founded the Identity Foundation, a charitable foundation for meditation and science. Today, he coach executives and write books on success and spirituality. He is also the voice of 7mind, the most widely used meditation app in German-speaking countries. On our Festival retreat, you will also have the chance to morning meditate with Paul!

This current moment in human history demands a maximum level of presence and care from all of us – and the full spectrum of everyone’s creativity! Toni Morrison says: „This is precisely the time when artists go to work.“. But unfortunately, this our society is also perfectly designed to choose to numb ourselves in endless doomscrolling instead or spiritually bypass. We are less and less used to freely expressing the healthy physical and emotional impulses where they happen: in the body! In this Somatic Laboratory, we will experience a set of embodied practices and mental tools that can easily support us in accessing our body’s healthy impulses again. These practices include guided movement sequences, exercises for nervous system regulation and lots of space for free creation. By diving right through the deep layers of collapse and numbness we will discover our more subtle sensitivities and the massive, primordial rivers of aliveness that are to running through our veins at all times. From that place, everyone can become a vessel for the Greater Creativity to work through them. This is an invitation to absolutely everyone. Because we are all artists, sculpting, imagining, designing our own life and the ecosystems around us with every breath we take, through our thoughts and our actions. No matter whether you are a creative professional or so far did not regard yourself as a creative person, you are absolutely welcome and needed in this big work of collective imagination! We need new stories, new designs, new technologies, new imagery, new plans for adaptation, new ways or organizing. To get there, we will make use of the fact that we are many. A healthy response to the current conditions will not emerge through an isolated genius. It will be facilitated by collective intelligence. The natural world, especially plant and animal spirits will be by our side as well to guide us, so that we may remember that we are nature, too: always boundlessly creative. Daniel Bernhard is an artist, a somatic coach and a certified Pantarei practicioner with 22 years of experience working as an author, director and performer in theatre.

In Hakomi we call this state of being “Loving Presence”. Through mindfulness, partner exercises and assisted self-study we will explore and become more conscious of our otherwise unconscious habits and beliefs that get in the way of Loving Presence as well as how we can let go of them in order to return to and nurture our connection to our originally open, whole and loving hearts.

Get to know yourself and the world - through Political Theatre! In this workshop we will dive into different creative, partly non-verbal approaches from the fascinating field of Political Theatre (inspired by the Theatre of the Oppressed, mainly founded by Augusto Boal), that will help us to explore how it feels to live in our individual bodies and minds, in this modern world and modern society. We will create individual and collective body images that show our various feelings and perspectives. From these images and small movement sequences we will build up a small performance, that will lead us to a discussion about what we've perceived, if we can relate to what we've seen. Ida is a theatre educator and social activist. The aim of this workshop is to create awareness about our feelings, obstacles, as well as visions and dreams that live within us as individuals and as a collective in relation to the world we live in.

Embracing narratives and tools from ancient wisdom traditions and latest scientific insights, our stages are designed to inspire contemplation, self-inquiry, togetherness, exchange and transformation.

Our inner worlds hold many secrets and great power. What happens when we become aware of these - and learn tools and methods to change and shape the fabric of our perception and wellbeing? We meditate, dive into the mystery of consciousness, discuss and explore philosophies of selfhood, identity and mental health. By training our minds we cultivate an accepting, kind, and compassionate relationship towards ourself and others.

Our heart - center of love, compassion and forgiveness - holds deep and profound truths. What will unfold when we dare to open it, listen to its whispering melodies, tap into its power - and express its geatest desires? With heart-opening breath work-sessions, practices of authentic relating, compassion and kindness, we aim to support the cultivation of an ethic of love through which we can walk through life and act more benevolently and generously.

We are marvelous sentient beings! How can we truly find a home in ourselves? How do we build trust in our emotions and in the wisdom and resilience we intuitively hold as breathing moving bodies? Grounding our experiences in movement and body awareness, we embrace a philosophy of embodied learning.

To play is an essential form of our true nature. Play worships the present moment, it allows a space to try, fail and learn without judgment. Unleash your imagination to envision the new worlds of tomorrow! The Play stage is also our big main stage: During the days, laughter, curiosity, and joy reign supreme while at night we celebrate the liberation of the human spirit with big ceremonies and blissful DJ-Sets.

This earth is more than our environment. When experiencing ourselves as one with nature and this universe, how do we look on global challenges and processes of destruction and transformation? How can we become guardians and caretakers of a flourishing planet? We reflect on our role in creating new visions and values to build new tomorrows in deep and meaningful relation with everything around us.
